Status: unmaintained, not tested recently; 2005-2006
This is an Eclipse plugin that I developed in 2005-2006 with Nikhil Swamy and Michael Hicks to make the fat pointer inference feature of the Cyclone programming language easier to use. I have not tested it since then.
To use this, you need to install the Cyclone compiler from its web site.
The cyclone-1.0.tar.gz
source archive there
contains the same plugin source code in eclipse/
except for the following differences:
eclipse/cycinf-plugin/src/cycinf/build
directory is missing there,
perhaps due to a mistaken assumption during a source tree migration of some kind that
any directory named build
is generated and should be deleted.eclipse/cycinf-sample/cycinf.mk
file has received a small patch,
perhaps to work with a newer version of the Cyclone compiler. So if you are intrepid enough to try to build the plugin now, you will probably have to merge the two sources. If you run into trouble, let me know and I may help if it isn't too much work.
