From 5216de37a4325207f1d2d3a613f2dcd20d63679e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: David Dykstra Date: Sun, 12 Jan 2003 04:02:25 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Reduced the severity of the warning about missing alloca to a warning, and changed the test to the common form of prefixing an x to both sides of an equivalence because it didn't even notice a problem on the cray when it was instead using test -n. Also noticed an error in the test for ANSI c, doing a "$xac..." = xno" when it should have been "x$ac..." = xno, so I fixed that too. --- configure.in | 10 +++++----- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 5 deletions(-) diff --git a/configure.in b/configure.in index a5976872..91dc3182 100644 --- a/configure.in +++ b/configure.in @@ -25,7 +25,7 @@ AC_SUBST(SHELL) AC_DEFINE([_GNU_SOURCE], 1, [Define _GNU_SOURCE so that we get all necessary prototypes]) -if test "$xac_cv_prog_cc_stdc" = xno +if test "x$ac_cv_prog_cc_stdc" = xno then AC_MSG_WARN([rsync requires an ANSI C compiler and you don't seem to have one]) fi @@ -421,11 +421,11 @@ then AC_MSG_RESULT($srcdir/popt) BUILD_POPT='$(popt_OBJS)' CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -I$srcdir/popt" - if test -n "$ALLOCA" + if test x"$ALLOCA" != x then - # this can be removed when/if we add an included alloca.c; see - # autoconf documentation on AC_FUNC_ALLOCA - AC_MSG_ERROR([included libpopt requires alloca which is not available]) + # this can be removed when/if we add an included alloca.c; + # see autoconf documentation on AC_FUNC_ALLOCA + AC_MSG_WARN([included libpopt requires alloca which is not available]) fi else AC_MSG_RESULT(no) -- 2.34.1
